Food delivery startups Foodora and UberEats and how they treat their “independent contractors” in Australia was investigated by Channel Ten’s The Project on Sunday night.
The Project looked at the companies’ exploitation of delivery workers, including conditions and pay, and what happens when someone is abused, injured or killed while “working” for these companies.
The Project’s video is below and contains confronting footage.
You can see UberEats and Foodora’s response to the The Project’s segment on The Project website.
Both companies declined to be interviewed in front of a camera.
